Develop Grow Achieve is a small friendly Cambridgeshire based company offering Learning and Development and leadership solutions. My philosophy is I am here to make your life easier, by supporting organisations, people or teams to be the best they can be and improve performance through building capability.

I believe that working in partnership with you to understand your business needs is key and knowing what's going well for you is as important as understanding your challenges.

Through my experience in retail and manufacturing I understand that developing your people’s capability is an ongoing task that can take time and effort, which can be a stretch for some small HR functions and other departments. To help with this I provide a wide range of services that can relieve you of some of that pressure.

After a fantastic career as an New Product Developer and Technical Manager in both food manufacturing and in retail at Tesco Head Office I just wasn’t feeling the buzz anymore. Like many of us at some point in our life, I wasn't finding my job as fulfilling or stretching as I wanted it to be.

​

I had come to a crossroads in my career and after some sage advice from my mum of “Do what you feel you would really love” I applied for and got a role designing and delivering training courses in a commercial function.  After the inevitable ups and downs of a career change and a few steep learning curves, I am now really proud of myself for taking that first step into a new and different role.

​

As my learning and development career flourished I gained international experience with Tesco, designing and delivering leadership programmes in both Asia and Central Europe for senior managers and directors, including their Woman in Leadership Programme.   

​

I have worked with senior teams as an accredited strength based coach helping people to develop their strengths to maximise their performance and I recently became an accredited NLP practitioner and coach. 

​

However I love my manufacturing roots and believe this experience helps me work in a flexible and pragmatic way to deliver best value for my clients. I believe my ability to design and deliver various blended learning solutions, both face to face and virtually, including leadership, compliance and e-learning or to come in and support your L & D or training team, sets me apart from other providers.

Oh!.... and thanks mum for the great advice -  I really appreciate how fortunate I am to do something I love which is supporting people in their development.

I originally set up Develop Grow Achieve (DGA) in October 2015, however my first client offered me an exciting full time role which I accepted. In 2019 I was made redundant and I decided to set up DGA once more. 

​

​In addition to working with my own clients I also do associate work with a number of other companies. This involves training delivery, including Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) modules for Oaktree Learning. Associate coach with The Coaching Consultancy in London and I am a consultant and accreditation mentor for the LPI (Learning and Performance Institute), the global body for workplace learning professionals.
I also work with the Police as a Police Assessor for new recruits.
